The International Institute of Leadership & Management (IILM) has identified three regional coordinators to support its engagement across Africa, Europe and North America. The appointments bring a regional focus to the Institute’s international mission of leadership development, practical learning, professional growth and collaboration.
The regional representatives are Omogbolahan Idris Ajala, Regional Coordinator for Africa; Kay Adeisa, Regional Coordinator for Europe; and Sheyi Oyelowo, Regional Coordinator for North America. Together, they provide regional points of contact as IILM builds relationships with professionals, institutions and communities in different parts of the world.
Connecting an international professional community
IILM is a professional institute focused on practical leadership and management development. Its activities include continuing professional development, professional membership, Fellowship and mentorship. The Institute seeks to encourage integrity, character, service, accountability and the application of leadership skills in professional and community settings.
Regional coordination is intended to help that mission respond to different local contexts while maintaining a shared institutional direction. Across continents, professionals encounter varied career pathways, learning systems and institutional needs. A regional network can provide a channel for listening to those priorities and developing appropriate relationships.
The three coordinators’ appointments should not be confused with the formal inauguration of IILM’s Advisory Council and Professional Standards Council. The regional coordinators hold separate representative roles, supporting regional engagement rather than serving as members of those councils.
Omogbolahan Idris Ajala: Regional Coordinator, Africa

Omogbolahan Idris Ajala serves as IILM’s Regional Coordinator for Africa. His appointment places him at the centre of the Institute’s efforts to develop connections across a continent with diverse professional, entrepreneurial and educational communities.
Within the regional coordination framework, the Africa portfolio provides a route for engagement with individuals and organisations interested in leadership and management learning. It also creates opportunities for the Institute to understand regional needs and explore relationships relevant to its programmes and professional community.
Africa’s varied economies and education systems make local knowledge and sustained engagement especially important to any international professional network. The role represents one part of IILM’s broader approach to building a connected and internationally accessible institution.
Kay Adeisa: Regional Coordinator, Europe

Kay Adeisa is IILM’s Regional Coordinator for Europe. She represents the Institute’s regional presence in a setting that brings together established professional bodies, multinational organisations, educational institutions and diverse communities of learners and practitioners.
The European coordination role supports the Institute’s ability to engage with people seeking continuing professional development, mentoring and opportunities to connect across disciplines and borders.
It also provides a regional contact point as IILM develops its professional community. Through the European portfolio, the Institute can better consider how its practical leadership focus relates to differing organisational environments and professional expectations.
Sheyi Oyelowo: Regional Coordinator, North America

Sheyi Oyelowo serves as IILM’s Regional Coordinator for North America, extending the Institute’s regional network across another major centre of professional learning, enterprise and institutional collaboration.
North America’s diverse professional sectors and communities provide a wide-ranging context for conversations about leadership, capability building and lifelong learning. The regional coordination role offers a channel for connecting those interests with IILM’s mission and emerging international network.
As with the Africa and Europe portfolios, the North American appointment is part of the Institute’s effort to establish identifiable regional representation and strengthen communication across its professional community.
A shared mission across three regions
Although the three coordinators represent different geographical areas, their appointments are linked by a common institutional purpose: helping IILM build meaningful connections while keeping ethical leadership and professional growth at the centre of its work.
Regional representation can be valuable when it improves communication, encourages cooperation and ensures that an international organisation remains attentive to the communities it hopes to serve. For IILM, the appointments mark a further step in developing a structure capable of supporting professional engagement beyond a single country.
The Institute’s stated vision places emphasis on leadership characterised by integrity, accountability, excellence and service. Its regional representatives form part of the wider network through which that vision may be communicated and developed.
