Five students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) tragically lost their lives in a road accident on Monday, July 28, 2025.
The accident occurred along the Eliozu–Rumuokoro Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, when the shuttle bus carrying the students collided with a stationary trailer.
Uniformed officers from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) arrived promptly at the scene to manage the evacuation and removal of the bodies.
