Trinity House, Victoria Island, Lagos, was filled with solemnity and celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2025, as dignitaries, loved ones, and members of the Christian community gathered for the 5th-year remembrance service of Pastor Mrs. Ibidunni Olajumoke Ituah-Ighodalo.
The event, themed “Fulfilling Greatness,” commenced at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity House, Zion Centre, and was marked by deep worship, moving tributes, and an atmosphere of reverent reflection. Apostle Tony Rapu, a respected voice in Christian ministry, ministered at the service, delivering a message that echoed the enduring legacy of Ibidunni’s life and faith.

Presiding over the ceremony was her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Senior Pastor of Trinity House, who paid heartfelt tribute to his late wife. “Ibidunni lived for God, lived for others, and lived with purpose,” he said, describing her as “a gift that keeps giving.” He emphasized that the remembrance was not only about mourning her absence but also about celebrating a legacy that continues to transform lives.
One of the most emotional moments came when their daughter, Unuakemonyi Olajumoke Ighodalo, fondly known as Keke, delivered a deeply personal tribute. With grace and poise beyond her years, she spoke movingly about her mother’s lasting influence on her life and character.

The service also featured scripture readings, hymns, and musical performances by the Trinity House choir and invited gospel artists. A short documentary chronicled Ibidunni’s journey—from beauty queen and entrepreneur to philanthropist and fertility advocate—captivating the audience with testimonies from couples supported by the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation.

In attendance were notable personalities including Mrs. Moyinlola Ajayi, mother of the late Ibidunni, Lagos State First Lady, several clergy members and public figures. Chief Sunday Dare was in attendance representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while Dr. Funsho Obasanjo represented former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, underscoring the national recognition of Ibidunni’s legacy and impact.
The remembrance service follows a Night of Praise held earlier on Wednesday, June 11, featuring Beejay Sax, Efe Nathan, Sir Tosin Alao, Alabba, and others.
The commemoration continues with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., also at Trinity House. Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo will minister at the service, which is expected to draw an even wider audience of worshippers, friends, and beneficiaries of Ibidunni’s life work.

Ibidunni Ighodalo passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 39. Through her ministry, event planning excellence, and the foundation’s ongoing support for families battling infertility, her influence remains powerfully alive. As voices of worship rise in her honor, her legacy continues—in the lives she touched, and in the daughter and family who carry her light forward.
