Fans of Fuji music icons Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and Taye Currency are celebrating as the two musicians have reconciled in Mecca, putting an end to their long-standing feud.

The duo, who had been at odds for over a year, were seen in a viral video sharing a heartfelt moment in what appeared to be a hotel room while performing Umrah. This marks their first public appearance together since their reconciliation efforts began.

Taye Currency had previously accused Pasuma of imitating Obesere’s musical style in the early days of his career and expressed frustration over the lack of respect he received in the Fuji music industry despite his loyalty to Pasuma. His comments led to a fallout, with Pasuma expressing disappointment over what he saw as ingratitude.

However, industry figures such as K1 De Ultimate played a key role in resolving their differences. Taye Currency later apologized to Pasuma during a live performance, and Pasuma acknowledged the gesture. Their recent meeting in Mecca has now confirmed that they have fully buried the hatchet.

Fans took to social media to express their joy over the reconciliation. One user wrote, “Alhamdulillah, history repeats itself.” Another added, “This is a beautiful moment for Fuji music lovers.”

This is not the first time Pasuma has prioritized peace over past disputes. Last year, he reconciled with Saheed Osupa after the latter extended his condolences following the death of Pasuma’s mother.
