Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is poised to make a major career move by joining French D’Arkema giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old winger, who recently left Spanish club Atlético Madrid after her contract expired, will become the second Nigerian player in the PSG squad alongside midfielder Jennifer Echegini.
Known for her explosive pace, creativity, and leadership, Ajibade has been a key figure in Nigerian football.
She recently led the Super Falcons to their record-extending 10th Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco, earning the Best Player of the tournament award.
Ajibade’s arrival at PSG is expected to significantly strengthen the team’s attacking lineup as they pursue both domestic honors and the UEFA Women’s Champions League title.
Despite interest from MLS clubs, Ajibade’s decision to join PSG underscores her ambition to continue her development at the highest level of European football.
