Social media personality and philanthropist Mitchell Mukoro, popularly known as King Mitchy, has publicly apologised to several prominent figures following the controversy surrounding her dispute with activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.

In a video circulating online, King Mitchy admitted that her actions during the dispute were wrong and said she was ready to take responsibility. She stated that she had reflected on her behaviour and acknowledged that she had disappointed many people who supported her.

During the emotional apology, she also addressed the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, expressing regret and asking for forgiveness. Reports said she went on her knees while apologising to the traditional ruler in the video.

King Mitchy also apologised to Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu. She said she had earlier apologised privately but decided to do so publicly because the incident that triggered the controversy also happened publicly. She thanked him for his support and said she would never take it for granted.

She further extended the apology to VeryDarkMan, whose online feud with her had escalated into a heated social media controversy. The dispute had drawn widespread attention and involved several allegations and exchanges between both personalities.

The controversy had earlier attracted public reactions after VeryDarkMan made allegations linking Seyi Tinubu to the dispute, claims which Tinubu later denied while explaining that his interaction with King Mitchy was limited to supporting her charitable activities.

King Mitchy said she had spent days reflecting on the events and concluded that she needed to accept responsibility for her actions. She added that she was prepared to be held accountable and hoped that those affected by the situation would forgive her.
