Anthony Joshua, the former unified world heavyweight champion, defeated social media star-turned-boxer Jake Paul via knockout in the sixth round of their highly anticipated bout at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Joshua dominated the fight, scoring four knockdowns before finishing Paul with a devastating straight right hand at the 1:31 mark of the sixth round.

Paul, who had been touted as a potential upset winner, struggled to cope with Joshua’s size, strength, and experience. Despite his best efforts, Paul was visibly worn down by the fifth round, and Joshua capitalized on his fatigue to secure the knockout victory.

“I wanted to pin him down and hurt him,” Joshua said after the fight. “It took me longer than I expected, but Jake Paul did really well and he deserves his props”.

Paul, who suffered his first knockout loss, acknowledged Joshua’s superiority, saying, “Anthony is a great fighter. I got my ass beat, but that’s what this sport is all about”.
