Turkish football powerhouse Galatasaray has finalized an agreement with Napoli for the permanent transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

The move follows Osimhen’s outstanding loan spell during the 2024/25 season, in which he scored an impressive 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Under the terms of the deal, Galatasaray will activate Osimhen’s €75 million release clause, paying €40 million upfront and settling the remaining €35 million by the end of 2026.

Napoli will also receive €5 million in additional bonuses and retain a 10% sell-on clause for any future transfer profits.

The agreement includes an ‘anti-Serie A clause’ preventing Osimhen from being sold to another Serie A club within the next two years.

Osimhen, who netted 26 goals and provided 5 assists in the Turkish Super League last season, will now continue his career at Galatasaray, reuniting with manager Okan Buruk and aiming to build on his prolific form as one of the most sought-after strikers in European football.
