Veteran Nollywood actress Tolani Akintunde has passed away in the United Kingdom after suffering a heart attack. The news, which came as a shock to her family and friends, was first shared by media personality and Best of Nollywood Awards organiser Seun Oloketuyi.

Tolani, known for her roles in popular early 2000s TV dramas such as Everyday People and Palace, relocated to the UK several years ago with her daughter, where she pursued a new career and ventured into business. Despite the distance, she remained a respected figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
