Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has revealed that despite admiring Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, she would not be able to date him. Speaking in a trending video, Uriel explained that her decision stems from her understanding of her own limits and what she can offer in a relationship.
“I can’t date Burna Boy, I will only want to cook for him because I don’t have the liver,” she said, emphasizing that she prefers a drama-free relationship where she is the only woman.
Uriel expressed concerns that Burna Boy’s high-profile success and past relationships with other famous women, such as Chloe Bailey and Steff London, would make it difficult for her to compete. “He will make me cry. I can’t compete with other women like Chloe Bailey, Steff London. I’m just a simple person. The only thing I can offer him is home-cooked food,” she added.
Looking ahead, Uriel shared her hope to settle down within the next two years but stressed that it must be with the right person and at the right time.
Burna Boy’s recent relationships have attracted public attention, including a brief and controversial romance with American singer Chloe Bailey earlier this year. Prior to that, he was linked to British rapper Stefflon Don from 2018 to 2022 and was also reported to have dated Jada Kingdom in 2023.
