The Marlian artist shared a heartwarming post on his Instagram account, where he posted a photo with his newborn, though he kept the gender and the identity of the mother under wraps. His caption read: “Owo Baba Zafar,” which translates to “Father of Zafar” in Yoruba.
This announcement comes amid a turbulent period for Zinoleesky’s career, which has been impacted by the controversies surrounding the tragic death of his fellow Marlian artist, Mohbad. Following Mohbad’s passing, Zinoleesky faced criticism for his silence on the matter, and as a result, several US show promoters canceled his tours.
Despite the backlash, Zinoleesky’s mentor, Naira Marley, has remained a strong supporter, reaffirming his faith in Zinoleesky’s success and declaring him the wealthiest person he knows. The ongoing drama within Marlian Records, however, has not been without its challenges.
