The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his non-interference in the affairs of the FCT ministry. Wike made this statement during the commissioning of the Guzape Lot II Infrastructure Project in Abuja on Saturday.
The minister expressed his appreciation for the President’s hands-off approach, saying it has enabled him to perform his duties without any undue influence. “Since I assumed office on August 21, 2023, you have never interfered in my work,” Wike said, commending the President for his trust in the ministry.
Wike also pledged the FCT Administration’s commitment to completing projects in the diplomatic area of Abuja, promising their completion by next year. The President, in his remarks, commended Wike for delivering on the infrastructure renewal promises of the Federal Government to the people of the FCT.
This development highlights the cordial working relationship between the President and the FCT Minister, ensuring the successful implementation of projects in the nation’s capital.
