American rapper Travis Scott was arrested in Paris on Friday after an altercation at a five-star hotel in the French capital, according to local prosecutors.
The incident took place at the Georges V hotel, where law enforcement was summoned after a reported dispute between Scott and a security agent. “Policemen were called to the Georges V hotel and arrested Travis Scott for violence against a security agent,” the Paris prosecutor’s office said in a statement. “The latter had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard,” they added.
This arrest comes as Travis Scott, known for his energetic performances and chart-topping hits, continues to make headlines internationally.
