Popular Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage revealed that rapper Olamide rejected ₦100 million offered for a verse in her song.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Tiwa explained that Olamide’s management initially billed her for the verse, but Olamide refused the payment, citing his understanding of the challenges faced by female artists in the industry.
Tiwa expressed gratitude, stating, “He said I’m his sister and he knows how difficult it is for a woman to make it in the industry. And guess what? He gave the verse for free. Good people exist and Baddo is one.”
She highlighted their sibling-like bond and appreciated Olamide for his supportive nature,
“I was willing to pay and his team charged me N100m. When Olamide asked them who the artiste was, he just said NO. He won’t take it,” She said.
