President Bola Tinubu has dismissed claims that he is pushing for Nigeria to become a one-party state, stating that he has taken no action to interfere with the registration or existence of any political party.
He emphasized that a one-party system would not be in the country’s best interest. However, he added that he cannot prevent individuals from joining the ruling party.
“No one will be denied entry into the APC,” he stated during his address to the joint session of the National Assembly.
