President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria has pledged that those responsible for the recent bomb attack in Borno State will face severe repercussions.
Condemning the violence, which claimed lives and injured many in Gwoza Local Government Area, Tinubu described the attack as a desperate act by terrorists facing increasing pressure and setbacks.
President Tinubu, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, stated, “The perpetrators of this wanton violence will encounter justice. Our administration will not permit the nation to descend into an era of fear, tears, sorrow, and blood.”
He emphasized that his government is implementing necessary measures to secure the safety of citizens. “Efforts will be redoubled to ensure that those who disturb the peace, take innocent lives, and disrupt law and order are entirely removed,” the statement continued.
