President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for an immediate end to the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, urging all parties to prioritize dialogue and the protection of civilians. In a statement, Tinubu expressed deep concern over the escalating violence and its devastating impact on innocent lives, particularly women and children.

The President reiterated Nigeria’s stance on the need for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, emphasizing that continued hostilities only exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in the region. “We stand firmly against any form of aggression that leads to the loss of civilian lives and the destruction of essential infrastructure,” Tinubu said.

He also called on the international community to intensify efforts toward achieving a ceasefire and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to affected populations. Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives aimed at fostering long-term peace and stability in the Middle East.

The President’s statement comes amid heightened global tensions and widespread calls for a de-escalation of the conflict, with many world leaders advocating for a renewed focus on peaceful negotiations.
