Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has signed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain Féminine. The 25-year-old forward joined PSG as a free agent after departing Atlético de Madrid at the end of the last season.

PSG officially confirmed the signing on Tuesday morning, announcing that Ajibade will remain with the club until June 30, 2027, with an option to extend her stay.

“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Nigerian striker Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade, who has joined the club on a deal that runs until 30th June 2027,” the club stated.

Ajibade expressed her excitement about the move, saying, “I’m deeply honoured to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a top-drawer club in Europe. This is a major step for me, and I’m committed to giving my all to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, be they in Nigeria or elsewhere.”

Before joining PSG, Ajibade played for Atlético de Madrid from 2021, following a two-year spell with Norwegian club Avaldsnes IL. In the 2024–25 season, she made 25 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.

Her arrival at PSG adds significant strength to the club’s forward options as they aim for success in both domestic and European competitions.
