Afrobeats star Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has filed her defense in response to Davido’s custody lawsuit over their daughter, Aurora Imade Adeleke.
Momodu’s counter-affidavit, comprising 102 paragraphs, was filed through her legal team, Anthony Idigbe SAN of Punuka Attorney and Dr. Bimpe Ajegbomogun.
Davido, in his suit LD/1587PMC/2024, seeks joint custody and unrestricted access to their daughter. He claims he has met his financial responsibilities, accusing Momodu of making unreasonable demands to harass him.
However, Momodu’s defense asserts that Davido “by his own choice” has not seen their daughter since July 2022, and she has “solely shouldered” their daughter’s care for two years, while Davido falsely portrays himself as a supportive father on social media.
The next hearing is scheduled for today, Friday, July 5, 2024.
