Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Rema has achieved another milestone with his hit single “Charm” receiving a platinum certification in France. This marks his fourth certification in the country, following previous platinum awards for “Soundgasm” and “Dumebi,” as well as a diamond certification for his global smash hit “Calm Down.”

“Charm,” released as part of his debut album Raves & Roses, has significantly boosted Rema’s international profile and solidified his position as one of the leading Nigerian artists in the global music scene. With four SNEP certifications, Rema ranks among the most certified Nigerian stars in France, second only to Burna Boy, who holds nine certifications.

In 2025, Rema has been actively touring, headlining major venues including Madison Square Garden, and earning critical acclaim. Earlier this year, he received his first Grammy nomination for Best Global Album with his sophomore album HEIS and was nominated for Best International Act at the 2025 BET Awards. At the 17th Headies Awards, Rema secured 11 nominations and won two awards for Best Afrobeats Album and Best Album.

Rema is also scheduled to perform at the 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in France, further cementing his growing influence in the international music industry.
