Dele Agbeyo, popularly known in the music world as Dele Gold, has died. The celebrated Nigerian gospel singer reportedly passed away on Wednesday after a brief illness.
The news of his death was confirmed by fellow gospel artist Alayo Melody, who expressed his shock and sorrow in a post on his official page: “Dele Gold died kee? Ahhh, this is getting too much! May God help us stop this untimely death. Dele Agbeyo, may your soul rest well.”
Dele Gold, often referred to as “The Miliki Gospel King,” hailed from Usi in Ekiti State but was raised in Faforiji, Osun State. His passing comes just a month after the death of another gospel singer, Aduke Gold.
