In a recent interview with City FM, Lagos, popular singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, revealed that his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), was responsible for his recent invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Paul Okoye disclosed that Peter had filed a petition accusing him of fraudulent activities, leading to a thorough investigation by the EFCC. Despite being cleared of all allegations, Paul expressed disappointment that Peter did not apologize for the false accusations.
Paul explained, “I never thought our issues would escalate to this level. I assumed it was just a musical disagreement. But when the EFCC called me in, I was shocked. They had all my account statements and questioned every transaction. I even had to get a lawyer and sureties.”
He continued, “After a month of investigation, the EFCC declared me innocent. However, despite being cleared, my twin brother has not apologized for the false claims.”
This public revelation adds another layer to the ongoing tension between the Okoye twins, who have been in the spotlight for their strained relationship.
