
The Owa of Idanre, Oba Fredrick Aroloye, the first traditional ruler in Ondo State, has passed away at the age of 102.
Oba Aroloye ascended the throne in 1976 and reigned for 42 years. His death was confirmed on Tuesday by the Lisa of Idanre land and traditional Prime Minister of Idanre, High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire. High Chief Akindolire stated that the necessary traditional rites are already being put in place to honor the late monarch.
