Veteran Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, popularly known as Omosexy, has expressed deep gratitude to God following a life-threatening health scare that required emergency surgery.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the actress detailed her harrowing experience, which started with severe back and chest pains, persistent vomiting, and debilitating stomach discomfort. Despite seeking medical attention, her symptoms worsened, culminating in a third trip to the emergency room, where doctors discovered her gallbladder was dangerously inflamed.
The diagnosis necessitated immediate surgery, which Omotola described as a “fight for her life.” Reflecting on her recovery, she emphasized the fragility of life and the importance of gratitude for good health.
“Today, I am returning to give all the glory to God. Whether you’re in the US or not, there’s so much to thank God for: the gift of life, good health, and a sound mind to dream of better days,” she wrote in her post.
The actress used the opportunity to encourage her fans to take time for gratitude, especially for seemingly simple blessings like health and well-being.
