Popular Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin have reconciled, bringing an end to their protracted feud. The social media dispute had escalated to a legal battle, with Iyabo filing a N500 million defamation lawsuit against Lizzy.
The reconciliation was facilitated by the judge overseeing the case, who acted as a mediator and offered motherly advice urging the actresses to end their public animosity and embrace peace.
Confirming the resolution, Iyabo Ojo told the press, “The judge advised us to stop fighting and cursing each other on social media. She emphasized the importance of living in harmony and resolving our differences amicably.” A video circulating online shows the two actresses smiling as they exited the court together. Lizzy Anjorin’s husband also approached Iyabo, offering a hug as a gesture of goodwill.
Lizzy’s lawyer stated that both actresses are committed to moving forward in peace, symbolizing the end of their rivalry.
