
Ogechi Adeola, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kigali, has been recognized as one of the top 50 most influential educators in global hospitality for 2024.
This prestigious honour was announced by the International Hospitality Institute on Friday, highlighting Adeola as the only educator based in Africa to make the list.
In a statement, the International Hospitality Institute expressed, “We celebrate these educators for advancing education in our beloved industry. Honorees will be featured in the January 2025 edition of the Global Hospitality Magazine, the highest-circulating global hospitality magazine.”
As a key figure in hospitality education, Adeola’s contributions have garnered international recognition, underscoring the importance of quality education in the hospitality sector. Her achievements exemplify the growing influence of African educators in shaping global standards within the industry.
