
Nigeria has secured the third position in the 2024 Global Fire Power ranking of African countries with the largest naval fleets. The ranking, which is based on the total number of warships and submarines, places Nigeria behind Algeria and Egypt.
Algeria leads the continent with a formidable fleet of 213 naval vessels, followed by Egypt with 140. Nigeria, with a total of 133 naval fleet, takes the third spot, surpassing Morocco, which ranks fourth with 121 naval vessels.
