Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed shock and concern following the explosion of a Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning.

Speaking via X (formerly Twitter), Musk stated, “The whole Tesla senior team is investigating this matter right now. Will post more information as soon as we learn anything. We’ve never seen anything like this.”

The tragic incident, which claimed one life and left others injured, occurred in the hotel’s valet area around 8:40 a.m. and has since sparked widespread reactions on social media.

Footage from the scene suggests that fireworks might have been inside the vehicle at the time of the explosion, though investigations are ongoing. Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo has assured the public of full support for law enforcement, pledging all necessary resources to aid the investigation.

Musk added that Tesla’s senior team is working diligently to uncover the cause of the explosion and promised to keep the public informed as new details emerge.

This unprecedented event has raised concerns among Tesla owners and the public, with many awaiting further updates from the company and authorities.
