In a fiery statement today, Dr. Sandra Duru, popularly known as “Prof. Mgbeke,” launched a scathing attack on Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, accusing her of fabricating sexual harassment allegations while avoiding legal action.
Duru mocked Natasha’s supporters for suddenly shifting from social media outrage to calling for court proceedings, asking, “So Natasha just discovered that real cases are proven in court, not on Instagram or Twitter?”
The outspoken critic highlighted that despite Natasha’s public accusations, “she has filed NOTHING in any court related to sexual harassment.” Duru further revealed that in the only pending case initiated by Natasha, “neither she nor her lawyers showed up in court recently.”
Duru, who has positioned herself as a truth-teller in the controversy, challenged Natasha to present evidence—either in court or publicly—if her claims were genuine. “We demand EVIDENCE! Bring it! Because the clock of truth is ticking,” she declared.
The statement comes after months of heated exchanges between the two women, with Natasha previously accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio of harassment—a claim Duru dismisses as a “symphony of deceit.”
Duru concluded with a defiant tone, stating that all her own evidence has been “forensically investigated and submitted to authorities.” She signed off with her signature Igbo proverb: “Ana eji uche eme ihe!” (Wisdom is profitable to direct).
The controversy continues to unfold as observers await Natasha’s next move—or lack thereof—in the legal arena.
