Less than 24 hours after Saturday night’s surprise evictions on Big Brother Naija Season 10, two other housemates were evicted on the Sunday night show.

Joanna, a 21-year-old model and fashion entrepreneur from Benue State, became the fifteenth housemate to be evicted on this season’s show after spending eight weeks in the Big Brother house.

Kuture, a 27-year-old sailor from Kogi State, also exited the reality show on the same night, becoming the sixteenth housemate to be evicted after his own eight-week stay.

Before the announcement of his eviction, the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, addressed Kuture’s controversial reputation among housemates as the ‘journalist’ of the house, suggesting he was someone who spread news and whose trustworthiness with personal information was questioned.

Kuture dismissed this label in a light and carefree manner, though the host appeared somewhat unconvinced.

The evictions marked an important point in the season, reducing the number of remaining contestants and intensifying the competition for the ₦150 million grand prize.

On the episode, Ebuka also paid tribute to legendary reggae and Pan-Africanist musician Sonny Okosun with his 70s-inspired themed outfit, blending wide-leg trousers and retro accessories. This added a cultural and reflective tone to the night’s events.

Joanna’s journey was marked by her raw, unfiltered personality, and entrepreneurial spirit, making her eviction a significant moment for fans of the season.

Kuture’s multifaceted talents, from drumming to fashion and interior design, had also endeared him to many viewers.

With these evictions, the house now has only 12 contestants left, ramping up the excitement as the season heads toward its climax. Fans are keenly watching to see who will rise to the challenge and who will be the next to leave the house.
