American rapper Meek Mill has announced his intention to hire an investigative team for $100,000 to uncover why his name is being linked to disgraced music executive Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy.
Diddy was recently arrested by Homeland Security on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution. His arrest has brought intense media scrutiny on his past and present associates.
Reacting to the media attention, Meek Mill expressed his frustration on his X handle, stating, “I wanna hire an investigative team with 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving Meek Mill’s name in the ‘Diddy’ case… I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving ‘Meek’ in anything to do with buddy! ‘Something not right’.”
Diddy, on his part, has denied all the charges, entering a not-guilty plea on September 17. Despite this, the Bad Boy Records’ boss has had his bail request denied twice, further intensifying the controversy surrounding the case.
