Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha has finalized his £62.5 million move to Manchester United, calling it a lifelong dream come true. The striker’s transfer was made official after United triggered the release clause in his Wolves contract, with all formalities including his visa and medical successfully completed.

Cunha signed a five-year deal with an option for an additional year. Reflecting on the move, he said it fulfilled a childhood dream sparked by watching Premier League matches in Brazil. “Wearing the red shirt of United has always been a goal of mine,” he shared, expressing gratitude to his family and supporters.

Cunha joins United after netting 31 goals in 76 appearances for Wolves, following his move from Atletico Madrid in 2023. The club identified him as a top summer target and moved quickly to secure the signing.

Despite the excitement around Cunha’s arrival, United face challenges ahead, with no European football in the upcoming season and a continued push to return to the Champions League spotlight.
