Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule has opened up about the most heartbreaking moment of his life, revealing that the loss of his first child remains his most painful experience.
Speaking in an interview with actor Kunle Afod, Odule recounted how the tragic news shattered him, especially given the difficult circumstances surrounding the child’s birth.
“The saddest moment of my life was when I was called and told that my first child had died. It was very hard on me,” he said.
Despite the deep sorrow, the celebrated actor said he had no choice but to accept it as the will of God, praying never to endure such a painful loss again.
“It was hard because of the situation surrounding the child’s birth, but no one can question God’s authority. It was so bad that I don’t pray for it to ever happen again,” he added.
Dele Odule, a respected figure in the Nigerian film industry, has continued to inspire younger actors with his contributions to the growth of Nollywood, despite his personal struggles.
