Wildfires ravaging Los Angeles have forced numerous celebrities and residents to evacuate as flames continue to spread, fueled by hurricane-force winds. The fires, which erupted on multiple fronts, have devastated areas like Pacific Palisades, known for its multimillion-dollar homes and star-studded residents.
Emmy award-winning actor James Woods shared footage on social media of flames nearing his home, saying, “It feels like losing a loved one.” Meanwhile, Star Wars legend Mark Hamill evacuated his Malibu residence with his wife and dog, calling it the “most horrific fire since ’93.”
“This Is Us” actress Mandy Moore also fled her home, taking her children and pets, while reality TV personalities Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt confirmed losing their house, with Pratt watching its destruction via security cameras.
Firefighters are struggling to control the blazes, leaving residents like actor Steve Guttenberg frustrated as abandoned vehicles block firetruck access. “If you leave your car, leave the key in there so someone can move it,” he urged.
The fires have already destroyed dozens of homes and infrastructure in affluent neighborhoods, prompting thousands to flee. Local authorities and first responders continue to battle the wildfires amid widespread devastation.
