American rapper Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, was arrested in Broward County, Florida, on October 24, 2024, on murder-for-hire charges.
The 32-year-old rapper, known for his influential role in the music industry, is being held without bond and is awaiting transfer to the custody of U.S. Marshals.
Just prior to Lil Durk’s arrest, five men associated with his Only The Family (OTF) music collective were also detained. These men, all from Chicago, face charges of murder-for-hire and conspiracy in connection with the 2022 murder of Saviay’a Robinson, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo, in Los Angeles.
Prosecutors allege that flights and rental cars for the suspects were funded through an OTF-linked credit card, aiming to establish ties between the suspects and Lil Durk’s organization. Lil Durk’s representatives have yet to make a public statement on the arrest.
