The late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, will be laid to rest in Abuja on Friday, as confirmed by his elder brother, Moshood Lagbaja. The announcement was made during a condolence visit from St Charles Grammar School Osogbo Old Boys Association (SCOBA), where Lagbaja was a proud alumnus.
A delegation from SCOBA, led by Engineer Adesina Salami, the association’s 1st Vice President, expressed deep sorrow over Lagbaja’s passing. Salami honored Lagbaja as a distinguished military leader whose unwavering dedication to Nigeria left an inspiring legacy. “We mourn the loss of an exceptional individual, a proud Charlean, and a distinguished military leader who served our nation with unwavering dedication,” Salami said.
The family acknowledged SCOBA’s condolence letter and appreciated the military’s commitment to giving Lt. Gen. Lagbaja a fitting farewell.
