
The Vice Chairperson of Badagry West Local Council Development Area, Princess Oluremi Nutayan Ajose, has passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Her remains have been deposited at a morgue as confirmed by official sources.
Princess Ajose was the daughter of His Royal Majesty, Oba Oyekan Possi Ajose, the Alapa of Apa Egun-Awori Kingdom.
She died barely two months after taking office alongside the Badagry West LCDA Chairman, Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren, known popularly as RIKAY.
Her death was confirmed on Sunday, September 21, through a condolence statement by the Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Ajose Peter Kumayon.
He described her passing as a “great loss to Badagry Division and Lagos State,” highlighting her dedication and service.
According to Kumayon, Princess Oluremi was a true servant of the people; a leader known for her compassion, humility, and commitment to grassroots development.
Her warm spirit and dedication positively impacted many lives within Badagry and beyond.
The Executive Chairman added that Princess Ajose lived a purposeful life marked by integrity, diligence, and love for humanity.
He extended heartfelt condolences to her family, the Badagry West LCDA government, and the entire Ajose family, praying for strength to bear the loss.
