Labour leaders have gathered at the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) headquarters in Abuja to support Comrade Joe Ajaero, the NLC President, who is set to respond to allegations of terrorism financing. Ajaero is scheduled to visit the police facility at 10:00 AM today.
The leaders began assembling at the NLC HQ as early as 8:00 AM to demonstrate solidarity with Ajaero. They plan to lead a peaceful procession to the police station for Ajaero’s interrogation on allegations including terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.
A heavy police presence has been stationed near the NLC facility to ensure law and order.
