
Junda Morris, Founder and CEO of JMK Production LLC, has been appointed as the new President of the West Africa Fashion Council (WAFC) USA chapter.
Morris is a globally recognized fashion producer, cultural ambassador, and PR strategist with over two decades of experience championing African fashion on international platforms.
As the visionary behind Runway International Shows, Morris has produced fashion showcases across the U.S., Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and other countries, promoting African designers, models, and brands worldwide.
In her role as WAFC USA President, Morris will lead initiatives aimed at expanding manufacturing and distribution opportunities for West African fashion brands, strengthening connections within the diaspora, and providing platforms for youth empowerment, scholarships, and mentorship programs. She aims to position West Africa as a global hub for creativity and innovation in the fashion industry.

The West Africa Fashion Council serves as a unifying body advocating for designers, models, manufacturers, and cultural practitioners across West Africa, ensuring that the global fashion industry recognizes and invests in the sub-region’s immense potential.
