The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded over 54.56% of the results from the Ondo State governorship election to its Result Viewing (IReV) Portal.

This marks a significant milestone in the ongoing vote tallying process, with results from 2,145 out of the 3,933 polling units in the state now available online.

Voters across all 18 local government areas of Ondo State participated in the election on Saturday, casting their votes to elect a new governor who will oversee the state’s affairs for the next four years.

At the time of filing this report, INEC had yet to complete the full update of results for any of the 18 local governments in the state. However, sources from the commission revealed that the upload process is ongoing.

Political parties and their supporters are closely monitoring the updates on the IReV Portal, with many hopeful of securing a victory in what is expected to be a tightly contested election.
