Renowned music executive and talent manager Jada Pollock has revealed a harrowing health scare she faced earlier this year while three months pregnant.
In a heartfelt post shared on her X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, Pollock recounted being rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove her appendix. Describing the ordeal as the most terrifying experience of her life, she expressed gratitude that both she and her unborn baby survived the life-threatening situation.
“At the beginning of the year, I faced the biggest fright of my life. Three months into my pregnancy, I was rushed to the hospital to have my appendix removed. Against all odds, both my baby & I made it through safely,” she wrote, adding, “Life is too short to be anything but grateful.”
Pollock, who shares two children with Nigerian music superstar Wizkid, used the opportunity to encourage her followers to embrace gratitude and cherish life’s fleeting moments.
