Popular actress Annie Idibia has disclosed that she suffered a miscarriage last year while expecting twins.
She made this revelation during a recent episode of the Netflix reality TV series Young, Famous & African, which premiered its third season on January 17, 2025.
The 40-year-old wife of legendary singer 2Baba shared that the experience took a deep emotional toll on her.
“You know, the whole of last year, even in the group, you know I wasn’t coming out enough. Naked, I was pregnant. For twins. I had a miscarriage the whole time,” she said.
Annie also admitted that she struggled to open up about the loss, revealing that only her husband and mother knew about it at the time.
“I wish I had someone in this group that I could actually go like, ‘I’m pregnant, we’re going to have a baby’… And then, we lost that. It was hard,” she added.
Annie and 2Baba share two daughters, Isabella and Olivia Idibia.
