Turkish Super Lig giants, Galatasaray, have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen on a season-long loan from Serie A champions SSC Napoli. The club unveiled the Super Eagles striker with a video on their social media platforms, featuring American music icon Usher’s hit song.
The 25-year-old striker, known for his trademark mask, confidently declared in the video, “We are the best,” while pointing toward the Europa League trophy—a bold statement of ambition for the upcoming season. The unveiling video concluded with Osimhen placing his iconic mask on the table, marking the beginning of his new journey with Galatasaray.
Galatasaray SK confirmed that Osimhen will earn a net seasonal salary of €6 million during his loan spell. The Turkish club will pay the full salary of the Super Eagles player throughout the season. However, Galatasaray is not obligated to purchase the striker once the season concludes.
This move is considered a significant addition to Galatasaray’s squad as they aim for both domestic and European success this season.
