Nollywood icons Funke Akindele and Stephen Oluboyo have been named among the highest-grossing screenwriters of 2024, as reported by Filmone on Instagram.

Stephen Oluboyo topped the list with films including Everybody Loves Jennifer, Alakada Bad and Boujee, and Aburo, which collectively earned N1.38 billion at the box office.

Funke Akindele, collaborating with Collins Okoh and Akinlabi Ishola, came in second for Everybody Loves Jennifer, which alone grossed N1.125 billion, affirming its immense popularity.
