Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, is set to deliver a sermon at Lambeth Palace in London as part of activities marking President Bola Tinubu’s state visit to the United Kingdom.

Lambeth Palace, the official residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury and a key centre of the Church of England, will host the event, underscoring the religious and diplomatic significance of the visit.

The sermon is scheduled to take place on Thursday, with the First Lady also expected to meet representatives of the Church of England during her visit.

The engagement forms part of a broader itinerary that includes high-level meetings with King Charles III and other British officials as Nigeria undertakes its first state visit to the UK in nearly four decades.

Officials say the visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between both countries across areas such as trade, security and cultural exchange.

Oluremi Tinubu, an ordained pastor, is expected to focus her message on faith, leadership and moral values, reflecting her background in ministry and public service.
