Popular music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy, has donated N100 million to the newly established Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) of social media personality, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan. The NGO, which focuses on community development and improving public schools, had recently attracted attention after the substantial donation.
VeryDarkMan initially raised concerns about the large deposit in a video posted to his Instagram account, requesting that Zenith Bank investigate the transaction. “@zenithbankplc please investigate my NGO account, I don’t know what is going on, hope I’m not being set up…. I AM NOT INTO MONEY L^UNDERING I DO NOT DO FR^UD (FOR THE RECORD),” he stated in the post, seeking clarity on the source of the funds.
However, in a new video posted on Thursday, VeryDarkMan confirmed that Don Jazzy reached out to inform him that he was the donor behind the N100 million contribution. According to VeryDarkMan, the music mogul explained that the donation was made to support the NGO’s mission of improving public education and helping underserved communities.
More details on the donation and the plans for the NGO’s future activities are expected to emerge in the coming days.
