Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced plans to compensate customers who bought Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) at the previous rate of N890 per litre before its recent price reduction.
The company recently reduced its gantry price from N890 to N825 per litre and has pledged to refund N65 per litre on over 200,000 metric tonnes of PMS purchased at the old rate. This move aims to ensure fairness and allow marketers to recover the price difference.
In a statement posted on its X handle on Monday, March 3, Dangote Refinery provided contact details and outlined step-by-step procedures for claiming the refund.
According to the announcement, customers must present a valid receipt of payment, which includes the name of the fuel station, to qualify for reimbursement.
