American wholesale giant, Costco, has refuted claims that it sold 1,000 bottles of baby oil to embattled music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The denial comes after a raid on Diddy’s Beverly Hills mansion in March uncovered a large supply of baby oil, sparking allegations related to his ongoing legal troubles.
During the raid conducted by Federal agents, Homeland Security officials reportedly found 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, which prosecutors allege were intended for use in illicit parties described as “freak-offs.” However, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, explained that the massive quantity of baby oil was purchased for “family use,” claiming the rapper prefers to shop in bulk.
Despite this defense, a Costco spokesperson told TMZ, “None of the company’s U.S. locations carry baby oil,” contradicting Agnifilo’s assertion that Diddy may have sourced the items from the members-only warehouse retailer.
TMZ also confirmed that a search of Costco’s online inventory revealed no listing for baby oil, though some baby-related products like hair and cleansing gel were available. “It would be a stretch to confuse that with baby oil,” the outlet remarked.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently facing multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all allegations.
The controversy surrounding the baby oil find has further fueled public interest in the high-profile case, though Diddy’s legal team continues to deny any wrongdoing.
