Prominent global brands highlighted their successful innovation and business transformation efforts at this year’s SAP Sapphire, a major business and technology event recently held in Madrid, Spain.

Sapphire is SAP’s premier annual customer event, which gathers customers, partners, and business leaders to explore the latest SAP innovations.

In a statement, the organizers mentioned that this year’s event introduced several innovations that empower users with Business AI, fundamentally changing how work is accomplished.

Nazia Pillay, the Interim Managing Director for South Africa at SAP, noted that organizations are harnessing powerful new technologies and integrated business applications to drive growth fueled by innovation across the enterprise.

“The increasing capabilities of Business AI applications that utilize reliable business data are already proving to be a transformative force for companies aiming for improved decision-making and enhanced efficiency,” Pillay remarked.

According to the statement, various brands presented successful Business AI initiatives built on SAP technologies.

“For instance, global brewer Heineken aimed to simplify data access so that business users could swiftly locate and analyze data in their preferred language. The company created Hoppy, an AI-driven chatbot that operates on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), marking a significant advancement in Heineken’s commitment to streamline internal processes and empower its workforce.
