Ciana Chapman, wife of popular Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, also known as Sabinus or Mr. Funny, has publicly denied rumours that her husband physically assaulted her. These allegations surfaced from a blogger who claimed Sabinus subjects his wife to domestic violence.
In response, Ciana took to her Instagram story to address and refute the claims, urging the blogger to stop spreading false information about her family. She highlighted the geographical absurdity of the allegations, noting that her husband is in Nigeria while she is currently in the United Kingdom.
“Cutie_juls, take my name and that of my family off your mouth and page,” she wrote. “How can my husband be in Nigeria and be hitting me here in the UK?”
This clarification follows the recent birth of Ciana and Sabinus’ first child. The couple married in a private ceremony in early 2023.
